Dulhan Shopping Guide: Houston

All products listed were in stock and priced as shown at the time this was written. Dulhan is not compensated for the following recommendations.

Illustrated map of Houston and the city's symbols

I will never forget visiting Fort Worth. It was as Texas as I expected Texas to get. Cowboys with their hats and guns. Horses in the street.

I’ve never seen a John Wayne movie in my life, but they were all probably filmed in Fort Worth.

But we’re not here to talk about how much Fort Worth scared me (a lot), we’re here to talk about South Asian shopping in HOUSTON—a city with which I have 0 familiarity, outside of being ghosted by a guy from there (good riddance ‘cause I met my husband right after that 🥰).

If you want to supplement the options in this list and see what else you can find in Houston and elsewhere in Texas, check out The Desi Bride. It’s a Texas-specific South Asian vendor directory founded by the NICEST woman (SO to Arjita!).

Without further ado, here are some Houston boutiques and designers to check out.
