Is there anything more exhilarating than riding in a rickshaw? Weaving in and out of traffic. Feeling the welcome breeze in otherwise oppressive heat. It’s one of my fondest memories of visiting family in India.
It’s been a loooong time since I’ve ridden in one, whizzing through busy streets and hanging on for dear life. But I do see them every now and again as décor for weddings.
You know what I’m talking about. Actual, floral bedecked rickshaws that welcome you into a venue entrance or act as props for photo walls.
Even if you love rickshaws, maybe you can’t–or don’t want–to have a life size one at your wedding. Lucky for you, there are still lots of ways to include this beloved Asian symbol in your décor, signage, or stationery.
