Mithai. It’s as guaranteed a part of your wedding as a late ceremony start time. Vendor hiccups. Family drama. Your <insert priest or DJ here> f*cking up your name.
You get the picture. If there’s an Indian wedding, mithai will be a part of it. Typically as a parting gift for your guests, otherwise known as return gifts (this is a v. Desi term that I learned from the Auntys).
