Pantone’s Very Peri may be the most popular color of the year prediction, but it’s not the only one.
From the fashion industry to interior design, companies and influencers are making their own color predictions. That leaves you with a range of colors to use as the inspiration for your wedding palette.
Here’s a look at the most popular colors for 2022 and how you can use them in your wedding.
Very Peri
Industry leader Pantone is making up for their 💩 2021 combination of ultimate gray and yellow with 2022’s bright and uplifting Very Peri.
Honestly, anything in the purple/cornflower blue family is going to be big this year. It’s versatile enough to use as a monochromatic palette, an accent color, or as a bold, Cottagecore-appropriate pop against a sea of neutrals.

Sage Green
Okay, so *technically* the name of Benjamin Moore’s color of the year is October Mist, but for our purposes, it’s sage green.
This color works well as a neutral, or a modern foundation for a classy, whimsical theme (think Disney’s Princess and the Frog, decorated French Quarter style).

Sky Blue
The fashion industry has some color predictions of its own, like sky blue, pastel pink, and sand (the perfect Cottagecore palette).
But it’s not just subdued pastels that are commanding attention in 2022; bold, punchy colors like canary yellow, hot pink, and electric blue are in too.

Salted Caramel
Like periwinkle, brown (or “salted caramel,” as the fancy folk say) is an underrated color that’s going to be a 2022 front runner. Combined with varying shades of beige and tan with gold and black accents, this palette exudes glamour and elegance.
